Turning Point Care Center in Moultrie, GA seeks licensed therapists to provide individual and group counseling for adults with trauma, mental health, and substance use concerns. Full-time; typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with group sessions in the morning and individual sessions, family contacts, case management, and treatment planning in the afternoon.

Clinical supervision for licensure is provided, and free CEUs support ongoing education.

Competenze

• Licensure in Georgia in good standing: LMSW, LAMFT, LAPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LPC.
• Master's degree in Therapy, Social Work, or Counseling; new grads within 12 months may be considered.
• Competence in primary mental health diagnosis.
• Experience with chemical dependency/substance abuse.
• Experience with dual diagnosis.
• Trauma-focused treatment experience.
• Experience with military veterans is a plus.

Licensed Therapist - Social Worker - Counselor

Therapists at Turning Point provide individual and group counseling to adults with trauma, mental health, and/or substance abuse issues. Therapists must be aware of social factors affecting the psychological well-being of individuals, services/programs for psychological/sociological improvement of individuals, and in conducting evaluative interviews.

Our full-time therapists generally work Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm providing group therapy in the mornings that may include process and education groups. Afternoons are primarily individual sessions, family contacts, case management, and treatment planning. Clinical supervision for licensure is provided to full-time therapists. Continuing Education (CEU) is designed to assist in meeting biannual licensure requirements and provided for free, during work time.

This full-time opening would be in the Women's Inpatient Substance Abuse/Chemical Dependence Unit or the Women's Partial Hospitalization Unit.

Qualifications
