Bradford Health Services in Louisville, TN is seeking a licensed therapist to join our team as a full-time professional. You will assess, plan, and implement evidence-based psychotherapy for individuals, families, and groups, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in a mental health field.
  • Valid state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing psychotherapy and mental health counseling to diverse populations.
  • Strong knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and behavioral health best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough psychological assessments to understand clients' mental health needs and challenges.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using various therapeutic modalities such as psychotherapy, family therapy, and group therapy.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support clients experiencing acute emotional distress or behavioral health emergencies.
  • Facilitate therapy sessions focused on issues such as anger management, life transitions, and behavioral health concerns.
  • Maintain detailed and confidential client records, monitor progress, and adjust treatment approaches as needed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical professionals to coordinate care.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and coping strategies to promote long-term wellness.

About the Role:

As a Therapist, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals, families, and groups to improve their mental health and overall well-being. You will provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the unique needs of each client, helping them navigate life transitions, manage emotional challenges, and develop coping strategies. Your work will involve assessing clients' mental health status, creating treatment plans, and facilitating individual or group therapy sessions. You will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and crisis intervention when necessary. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to enhancing clients' quality of life and fostering resilience in the face of behavioral health challenges.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field.

  • Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
  • Experience in a clinical or community mental health setting.
  • Bilingual abilities or experience working with culturally diverse populations.
