NeuroPsychiatric Hospitals in Houston seeks a licensed clinician to join our inpatient behavioral health team. The therapist will provide daily individual and group counseling, contribute to treatment planning, and coordinate care with families and the care team.

Applicants should hold a Master's in Social Work or a related field; licensure such as LCSW, LPC, or LMHC is preferred. Minimum of 2 years in behavioral health is desired; strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Education: Master\'s in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field is required
• LCSW, LPC, or LMHC provisional license preferred
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in behavioral health or acute psychiatric setting preferred
• Experience in an acute in-patient behavioral health hospital a plus
• Experience developing and administering treatment plans
• Individual and group counseling techniques
• Exceptional communication skills

Responsibilities

• Accountable for overall treatment planning efforts, care conferences with families and providers, family and provider care updates, psychosocial needs and completion.
• Coordinate and facilitate the development of a discharge plan of care for the patient population which includes accountability for the complex discharge process.
• Ensure the experience of care for the patient and family is exceptional.

Medical Behavioral Hospital of Clear Lake is adding therapists to our growing clinical services team to provide outstanding care to our patients and their families in their recovery journey. The therapist will provide daily individual and group counseling along with best-in-class treatment planning and care coordination under the guidance of the Director of Clinical Services. Therapists are Master's prepared clinicians with a focus on trauma informed care, compassion, and patient safety
