Job summary

NeuroPsychiatric Hospitals in Crown Point, IN, is expanding its clinical services by adding therapists to provide daily individual and group counseling, with strong emphasis on trauma-informed care, compassion, and patient safety.

Therapists are Masters-prepared clinicians; they collaborate with the Director of Clinical Services on care planning and treatment coordination within an interdisciplinary team. This role supports recovery journeys and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

  • MSW/ Counseling/ Psychology master’s degree required.
  • Counseling degree: associate license OR full counseling license required.
  • MSW: associate or temporary license in the state of employment; full license preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in behavioral healthcare or acute psychiatric setting preferred.
  • Experience in an acute in-patient behavioral health hospital is a plus.
  • Experience developing and administering treatment plans.
  • Individual and group counseling techniques.
  • Exceptional communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for overall treatment planning, care conferences with families and providers, and psychosocial needs and completion.
  • Coordinate and facilitate discharge planning for the patient population, including the complex discharge process.
  • Ensure the experience of care for the patient and family is exceptional.

Crown Point Hospital

is adding therapists to our growing clinical servicesteam to provide outstanding care to our patients and their families in their recovery journey. The therapist will provide daily individual and group counseling along with best-in-class treatment planning and care coordination under the guidance of the Director of Clinical Services.   • Coordinate and facilitate the development of a discharge plan of care for the patient population which includes accountability for the complex discharge process.
  • Ensure the experience of care for the patient and family is exceptional.
Qualifications
  • Education: Master's in Social Work (MSW), Counseling, Psychology, or related human services field is required
  • Candidates with a Master’s Degree in Counseling: Associate license OR full counseling license required.
  • Candidates with a Master’s Degree in Social Work: associate or temporary license in the state of employment required, full license preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a behavioral healthcare or acute psychiatric setting preferred.
  • Previous experience in an acute in-patient behavioral health hospital is a plus
