Job summary

Aspiranet's Hope Forward Campus in Turlock, CA is hiring a Therapeutic Youth Counselor III for our STRTP program. The role leads daily routines, therapy activities, and supervision of youth residents in a trauma-informed, supportive environment.

Qualified candidates hold a BS/BA in a related field and possess at least three years of behavioral health experience, with strong crisis intervention and leadership abilities. This is a full-time, on-site position with a competitive hourly pay range.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Counseling, Criminal Justice, or related field; three (3) full-time equivalent years of behavioral health experience.
• Proficiency using a computer and Microsoft Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Informs and supports trauma-responsive treatment and discharge plans.
• Implements daily cottage/group home schedule and respects youth routines and cultural customs.
• Serve as senior staff and may act as administrator in absence of supervisor.
• Lead crisis intervention support and ensure documentation meets standards.
• Mentor junior youth counselors and model Aspiranet practices.
