Job summary

Nemours is seeking a Therapeutic Technician (Outpatient Therapy Services) to join our Nemours Children’s Health team in Wilmington, Delaware. The role involves organizing, preparing, and assisting in delivery of patient care within a designated Therapeutic and Rehabilitative Services program area.

Responsibilities include maintaining treatment areas, assisting therapists and nursing staff, and ensuring safety and infection control guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months experience in a therapeutic or clinical support role.
• BLS (AHA) certification required on hire and maintained during employment.
• Lifeguard certification is required but not upon hire; Pool Operator certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist in delivery of patient care in Therapeutic and Rehabilitative Services.
• Maintain treatment areas and equipment per infection control guidelines and hospital policy.
• Assist therapists and nursing staff with transfers, ambulation, activities of daily living, and aquatic therapy under supervision.
