MIDWEST EDUCATION SUPPORT SERV is seeking a Special Education Teacher for Pathways Academy, a therapeutic day school serving Autistic PreK-2 students. The role focuses on individualized instruction, IEP development, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

You will implement evidence-based practices, manage a structured classroom, support social-emotional growth, and coordinate with related service providers to ensure progress and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and implementing IEPs and collaborating with related service providers.
• Ability to collect and analyze data to inform instruction and measure progress.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed practices and behavior management strategies.
• Experience in differentiated instruction for diverse learners with autism.
• Strong communication with parents and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements research-based instruction aligned with IEP goals.
• Develops annual IEPs in collaboration with parents and team members.
