Position Summary:

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement a strategic business plan to target and establish relationships within a broad geographical area.
  2. Engage healthcare professionals across various subspecialties, including physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and pharmacists.
  3. Visit diverse settings such as physician offices, hospitals, ORs, ICUs, etc.
  4. Communicate complex clinical messages effectively in clinical situations.
  5. Manage hybrid relationships through in-person (70+%) and virtual engagements, leveraging modern communication methods.
  6. Use data sources to optimize strategies and capitalize on high-ROI opportunities.
  7. Achieve or surpass sales and profit targets.
  8. Maintain territory data through a CRM system.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years of sales experience in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or healthcare.
  • Ability to work independently and manage key accounts.
  • Proven sales growth and consistent achievement of sales goals.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of complex clinical information.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools like Veeva or Salesforce.
  • Leadership qualities and the ability to work both independently and in teams.
  • Attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Experience:
  • Endocrinology background (preferred).
  • Hospital sales experience, familiarity with P&T and formulary processes.
  • Knowledge of local/regional health systems.
Physical and Work Environment:

Includes prolonged sitting, communication tasks, walking, lifting up to 25 lbs, and a low to moderate noise environment. Accommodations available for disabilities.

Travel:

Up to 50% travel may be required.
