Position Summary:

As a Therapeutic Specialist (TSS), you will be a key ambassador for Crinetics, engaging healthcare professionals, including endocrinologists, to promote optimal patient care and therapy adoption. Building strong relationships through clinical knowledge and understanding patient needs, you will collaborate with Strategic Account Managers and cross-functional teams to shape strategies, address access challenges, and maintain a patient-focused approach.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic business plan to target and establish relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders across a wide geographical area.
  • Call on physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, etc., across multiple subspecialties.
  • Engage with physician’s offices, hospital pharmacies, OR, ICU, etc.
  • Communicate complex clinical messages clearly and effectively.
  • Manage hybrid relationships through in-person (70+%) and virtual engagements, leveraging modern methods to maximize efficiency.
  • Use data sources to optimize strategies and capitalize on high-ROI opportunities.
  • Achieve or surpass sales and profit goals.
  • Manage and track territory-specific information via CRM systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or healthcare sales.
  • Ability to work independently and manage key accounts.
  • Proven growth in sales within your territory.
  • Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of clinical information.
  • Ability to articulate complex clinical messages to healthcare providers in real-time.
  • Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills.
  • Strong virtual engagement skills and proficiency with CRM tools like Veeva or Salesforce.
  • Independent worker but also a team player.
  • Leadership qualities, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Experience:

  • Endocrinology background preferred.
  • Hospital sales experience, familiarity with P&T and formulary processes.
  • Knowledge of local/regional health systems.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Prolonged sitting, occasional walking, lifting up to 25 lbs., low to moderate noise levels. Reasonable accommodations available for disabilities. Laboratory experience may be required for some roles.

Travel: Up to 50% travel may be required.
