Job summary

Circle Academy Urbana is seeking a School Social Worker to provide counseling to students in a structured, therapeutic learning environment. The role supports students in Urbana and Rossville, IL, and collaborates with the treatment team to meet IEP goals and program requirements.

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s in Social Work and a valid Illinois School Social Work license; at least three years of related experience in a therapeutic day treatment setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Social Work (required).
• Certification: Valid Illinois School Social Work License (LCSW/LSW/LCPC or LPC).
• Experience: Minimum of three years working with students with emotional/behavioral disabilities in a therapeutic day treatment school setting.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and provide counseling to students weekly and as specified on the IEP or program requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality and prioritize multiple responsibilities while working cooperatively with the treatment team.
