Job summary

Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation Department seeks a Therapeutic Recreation Intern (Recreation Assistant) to support its Therapeutic and Inclusive Recreation Services. The internship is 14 weeks minimum with 560 hours, daytime/evening/weekend shifts, and cross-training across teams.

This temporary role offers hands-on experience in adapted recreation, program facilitation, and safety. No prior experience required; High School Diploma or equivalent is needed, with CPR/First Aid recommended.
