New Horizon Community Care (NHCC) is hiring a Therapeutic Recreation Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) in Chandler and other locations. The role focuses on after-school programs using movement, recreation, art, and CBT-based activities to build resilience and confidence.

Qualifications

• Meet state licensing requirements for BHTs/Para Professionals.
• 21+ years old.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid AZ Driver's License and insurable driving record.
• Must obtain AZ DPS Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (Unrestricted).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure safety.
• Facilitate groups, activities, and skill-building sessions.
• Support treatment goals and behavior plans.
• Assist with documentation and case coordination.
• Provide crisis intervention when needed.
• Support academics (CHOICE).
• Participate in recreation and movement-based activities (Therapeutic Rec).
• Collaborate with clinical and program teams.
