New Horizon Community Care (NHCC) is hiring Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT) to support youth and adults through structured, therapeutic programs in Chandler, Tempe, Glendale, Phoenix, and Casa Grande. The team focuses on coping skills, emotional regulation, and engagement within diverse communities.

The role includes supervising groups, delivering activities, documenting progress, and collaborating with clinical staff to meet treatment goals.

Qualifications

• Experience with at-risk youth or behavioral health populations.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage group dynamics and maintain structured environments.
• Willingness to learn crisis intervention.
• Must meet state licensing requirements for BHTs/Para Professionals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure safety.
• Facilitate groups, activities, and skill-building sessions.
• Support treatment goals and behavior plans.
• Assist with documentation and case coordination.
• Provide crisis intervention when needed.
• Support academics (CHOICE).
• Participate in recreation and movement-based activities (Therapeutic Rec).
• Collaborate with clinical and program teams.
