New Horizon Community Care (NHCC) in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Therapeutic Recreation BHT Team Lead to supervise a team of Behavioral Health Technicians and lead after-school activities for youth and young adults using movement, recreation, art, and CBT‑based methods.

You will support treatment goals, ensure safety, and collaborate with the clinical team to implement individualized plans while promoting trauma-informed care and ongoing skill development.

Formación

• Meet state licensing requirements for BHTs/Para Professionals
• Must possess at least an Associate's degree in a mental health-related field, or be willing to obtain an Associate's degree within 3 years
• Must be available to work Wednesday - Saturday during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
• 21+ years old
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid AZ Driver's License & insurable driving record
• Must be able to obtain an AZ DPS Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (Unrestricted)

Responsabilidades

• Supervise staff and clients to ensure safety
• Facilitate groups, activities, and skill-building sessions
• Support treatment goals and behavior plans
• Assist with documentation and case coordination
• Provide crisis intervention when needed
• Support academics (CHOICE)
• Participate in recreation and movement-based activities (Therapeutic Rec)
• Collaborate with clinical and program teams
