New Horizon Community Care (NHCC) in Arizona is seeking Therapeutic Recreation Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT) to support youth and young adults through structured, therapeutic programs. You will supervise activities, facilitate groups, document progress, and collaborate with clinicians to ensure client safety and progress.

Qualifications

About the Role

Therapeutic Recreation – After-school program using movement, recreation, art, and CBT-based activities to build resilience and confidence. Our Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) play a critical role in our Therapeutic Recreation Program, supporting youth and young adults navigating at-risk behaviors in an after-school setting. BHTs provide mentorship, guidance, and care through trauma-informed approaches and cognitive behavior therapy, utilizing sports and activities as therapeutic tools. The role involves working closely with the clinical team to implement individualized treatment plans and ensure the safety and well‑being of our clients.

Minimum Qualifications
