Job description

Summary

The Therapeutic Radiologic Technologist will be part of the Radiation Oncology service team at the Pittsburgh VA Medical Center. The facility is the primary treatment site for cancer patients in a large geographic area, providing advanced cancer care including radiation therapy.

Qualifications

Applicants pending completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be tentatively selected but cannot be hired until all requirements are met.

Basic Requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship: Be a citizen of the United States
• English Proficiency: Proficient in spoken and written English
• Education: Successful completion of a program in therapeutic radiologic technology, evidenced by a certificate or an associate's or higher degree accredited by recognized bodies
• Certification: Certified in therapeutic radiologic technology by the ARRT in Radiation Therapy (ARRT (T))
