Job summary

University of Portland is seeking a CSWS LifeWorks NW/The Children's Relief Nursery Assistant in Portland, OR. This student employment position runs during Fall and Spring semesters, with up to 16 hours per week and a wage of $16.80 per hour.

Work is via the CRN Therapeutic Classroom and bus monitor duties, under supervision. Applicants must have Federal Work Study funds and will report to EC Specialists on-site and the Moreau Center Program Manager on-campus.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Must have Federal Work Study Funds in Financial Aid package (contact [e-mail] with questions)
• Preferred Qualifications: Social work experience or interest in the field
• Preferred Qualifications: Early Childhood experience or interest in the field

Responsibilities

• Attend and follow all orientation and requirements for internship (Office of Childcare)
• Follow task supervisors instructions in the Therapeutic Classroom
• Learn and observe and implement the RN Therapeutic Model
• Ride on CRN buses as monitor on bus route with staff
• Attend staff meetings and supervision
• Shadow task supervisor or other staff member on home visit
• Other relevant duties as assigned
