Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; Bachelor degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Psychology or related field.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team and manage crises.
• Strong group facilitation and crisis management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff in maintaining a therapeutic milieu and patient care.
• Co-facilitate unit-based therapeutic groups as identified by the Nurse Manager.
• Under RN direction, provide individualized patient care to ensure safety and dignity.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to address patient/family needs.
• Participate in interdisciplinary staff meetings and read/sign minutes.
