Job summary

English Mountain Recovery seeks a Dietary Aide to implement menus, coordinate food preparation, and serve meals for clients, staff, and visitors. You will ensure nutritious, high-quality meals, follow sanitary guidelines, and assist in inventory and equipment cleaning on site.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Two or more years’ experience in food service for institutions, such as school, hospital or cafeteria preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans and prepares foods in accordance with facility policies and approved menus.
• Follows recipes and portioning procedures to prepare meals.
• Stores and prepares food safely with proper temperature control and labeling.
• Directs activities of staff who assist in preparing and serving meals.
• Keeps kitchen clean and orderly, inventories supplies and checks food products.
