Job summary

English Mountain Recovery is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to support meal preparation, serving, and kitchen sanitation at our Sevierville facility. You will follow approved menus, ensure safe food handling, and assist with inventory and food safety records.

The role requires a high school diploma and 2+ years in institutional food service, with SERV Safe or equivalent certification highly preferred. This position is on-site with non-remote work expectations.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience in food service in institutions preferred.
• SERV Safe or similar food safety certification required by the state.

Responsibilities

• Plans and prepares foods in accordance with facility policies and approved menus.
• Follows recipes and portioning procedures for regular and therapeutic menus.
• Maintains proper temperature logs and safe storage of foods; rotates stock.
• Sets up steam tables, labels modified foods, and assists with serving.
• Directs activities of staff assisting in meal preparation and service.
• Records temperatures and meal counts daily and keeps the kitchen clean and orderly.
