Job summary

Rite of Passage is seeking a Therapeutic Manager to administer and develop prescriptive treatment programs for youth in care. The role involves overseeing case plans, providing therapy, case management, and liaison with families and agencies.

Licensed or actively pursuing licensure is preferred. Responsibilities include graduation planning, progress documentation, and maintaining student files, with leadership in group sessions and treatment activities.

Qualifications

• MA, MS or MSW required; licensed or actively pursuing licensure preferred.
• Three years of Case Management experience with juveniles is required.
• CAC II or CAC III preferred for substance abuse education/treatment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interview potential employees.
• Must have a valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record for the past 3 years.
• Ability to pass background clearance, drug screen, physical and TB test.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and complete written reports.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee Prescriptive Treatment Plans aligned with the Discrete Case Plan and client needs.
• Develop and oversee Graduation Plans based on student issues.
• Serve as primary liaison between student, guardians, Client Manager and placing agency.
• Provide monthly progress notes and weekly updates to relevant parties.
• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy, case management, and crisis intervention.
• Facilitate Leadership Circles and designated treatment groups.
• Maintain and update student files in coordination with administrative support.

Job description

What you’ll do:

The Therapeutic Manager is responsible for administrating, developing and facilitating the completion of case plans and prescriptive treatment programs in accordance with the requests of the placing agency and the needs of each student on their case load. Therapeutic Managers are the primary service providers for individual, group, family and case management services.
Licensed or actively pursuing license.

1. Develops and oversees the completion of Prescriptive Treatment Plans according to the Discrete Case Plan, Commitment Time, and presenting issues and needs of the students on the assigned case load. Works with the Transitional Aftercare Specialist to develop student’s Plan.
2. Develops and oversees the completion of the Graduation Plan based on presenting issues and student needs.
3. Primary program liaison between student, parents/legal guardian, Client Manager and placing agency officials.
4. Provides accurate monthly progress notes and weekly student updates to the client manager, lawyers, family members and/or placing agency officials according to the Discrete Case Plan and a student’s progress toward the Project ACHIEVE Plan.
5. Provides individual therapy, family therapy, case management services and crisis intervention to each student assigned to the living area. Completes suicide assessments and documents ongoing evaluation of students on Suicide Precaution Monitoring.
6. Attends and assists with the facilitation of the Leadership Circles and designated treatment groups.
7. In conjunction with administrative assistance, the Therapeutic Manager is responsible for managing and updating assigned student files.

To be considered, you should:

1. Possess a MA, MS or MSW. (Licensed or actively pursuing a license preferred).
2. Prior Case Management experience required including three years experience with juveniles.
3. Prior substance abuse education, intervention and treatment services provided to juveniles (CAC II or CAC III preferred).
4. Good interpersonal skills including the ability to interview potential employees, if required.
5. Must meet the requirements to be an eligible ROP driver. Must possess a current State Driver’s License and have an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years.
6. Strong knowledge of overall company operations and policies and procedures.
7. Ability to pass a criminal background clearance check, drug screen, physical and TB test.
8. Ability to perform work with little or no supervision.
9. Ability to utilize resources available to complete assigned projects.
10. Ability to prepare written reports and correspondence.

Salary: $70,000-$75,000
