Job summary

Lutheran Community Services NW is seeking an early childhood specialist to manage a caseload of 5-8 families with 8-11 children aged 2-4 years. You will co‑plan and implement developmentally appropriate curricula, conduct monthly home visits, and maintain comprehensive documentation for each child and family.

The role emphasizes direct service time, documentation, and collaboration, with a focus on inclusion, equity, and supporting families in a supportive nonprofit setting in Oregon.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree and related experience in early childhood settings.
• Strong communication and English language skills are essential.
• Ability to work with diverse families and maintain HIPAA-level confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Direct service with 5-8 families and 8-11 children, including developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Conduct monthly home visits and maintain accurate family and child documentation.
• Ensure safety, inclusion, and warm interaction with children and families.
• Coordinate with supervisor and staff to support family needs and referrals.
