Senior Lifestyle seeks team members to provide high-quality meals to residents, guests, and staff. You will prepare food using daily plans and standard recipes, and assist on the food line during mealtimes with attention to safety and sanitation.

Qualifications

• Experience in production cooking and/or preparing therapeutic diets is preferred.
• Clear and effective communication in English is required.
• Willingness to obtain food handling and sanitation licenses.
• Basic computer skills including Excel and Word are required.
• Ability to make independent decisions when needed.
• Ability to solve practical problems in variable situations.
• Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food using the daily planner and standard recipes.
• Work the food line during mealtimes.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation compliance in all kitchen areas.
• Respond quickly to resident and guest needs and requests.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors and co-workers.
