Job summary

Regency Oaks is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve therapeutic diet trays to Health Center residents. This full-time role operates 2:00pm-7:30pm, at a rate of $15.00/hour, and focuses on safe, sanitary food service within the health center dining room.

The candidate will follow diet orders, set up trays, transport food, and maintain clean work areas. English communication and prior nursing home food service are valued.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
• Previous experience in nursing home food service preferred.
• Ability to plan and organize work, set up trays and plates in accordance with diet orders and interpret specifications and standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepares therapeutic desserts and salads as required.
• Serves meals in the health center.
• Sets up tables in the health center dining room and breaks down same after meal.
• Transports hot and cold foods to and from the health center.
• Maintains station equipment and work area in safe and sanitary condition.
