Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in education, social work, special education, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with children or adolescents with emotional, behavioral, social, and/or mental health needs preferred.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary services and working with families and community providers preferred.
• Understanding of special education processes, IEP implementation, and student support planning preferred.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and/or student information and documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations of the therapeutic day school program to ensure continuity of services and adherence to program goals.
• Support implementation of the school’s educational, behavioral, and therapeutic programming.
• Monitor program activities to ensure alignment with student individualized needs, treatment goals, and educational plans.
• Assist with development, implementation, and evaluation of program policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Help maintain a safe, structured, and trauma-informed school environment.
• Collaborate with teachers, clinicians, behavior specialists, related service providers, and administrators to support student success.
• Coordinate services for students with IEP’s, behavior intervention plans, safety plans, and therapeutic support needs.
• Support scheduling of meetings with families, districts, and other stakeholders when needed
• Assist families in accessing school-based or community-based resources when needed

Education
