Job summary

Eyas Landing - Avondale is seeking a Therapeutic Assistant/Behavior Technician Flex to provide behavior therapy in a clinic-based setting for children ages 6-14 with ASD and other neurodiverse needs. This role supports ABA programs, collects data, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to promote cognitive, social, emotional and adaptive growth.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule (8:30am-5:00pm), no evenings or weekends, on-site at 3319 N.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent college credit required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Completion of 40-hour ASD and behavioral related training required
• Active BACB certification preferred
• Experience working with children or clients with special needs required

Responsibilities

• Providing individualized therapy
• Collecting data on programming
• Providing support during therapeutic rotations
• Implementing evidence-based intervention plans under supervision
• Collaborating daily with teachers, therapists, and social workers
• Documenting progress and communicating with families to support continuity of care

Therapeutic Assistant/Behavior Technician Flex

3319 N. Elston Ave. Chicago, IL | Clinic-Based | Predictable Monday–Friday, 8:30am-5 PM schedule - no evenings or weekends.

Hourly Rate & Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $19-$21/hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Eyas Landing - Avondale offers a unique opportunity to provide behavior therapy through our Merlin Day Academy, a fully integrated educational and therapeutic environment for children ages 6-14 years old with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs. This is an opportunity to combine Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with a school-based, team-driven program. A s a TA/BT Flex, you will foster each child's cognitive, social, emotional, adaptive, and developmental growth.

Responsibilities:

• Associate's degree or equivalent college credit (60 credits) required; Bachelor's degree preferred


• Completion of 40-hour training of ASD and behavioral related subjects/evidence-based techniques required


• Active BACB certification preferred


• Experience working with children or clients with special needs required
