Job summary

Eyas Landing - Avondale in Chicago, IL is seeking a Therapeutic Assistant/Behavior Technician (Flex) to provide ABA-based therapy to children ages 6-14 in a school-integrated clinic setting. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm with no evenings or weekends, full-time at an hourly rate.

The role involves delivering individualized therapy, collecting programming data, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team under BCBA supervision.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 60 credits required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Completion of 40-hour ASD and behavioral training required.
• Active BACB certification preferred.
• Experience with children or clients with special needs required.

Responsibilities

• Providing individualized therapy.
• Collecting data on programming.
• Providing support during therapeutic rotations.
• Implementing evidence-based intervention plans under supervision of a BCBA.
• Collaborating daily with teachers, physical and speech therapists, and social workers.
• Documenting progress and communicating with families to support continuity of care.

3319 N. Elston Ave. Chicago, IL | Clinic-Based | Predictable Monday–Friday, 8:30am-5 PM schedule - no evenings or weekends.

Hourly Rate & Benefits

About the Role

Eyas Landing - Avondale offers a unique opportunity to provide behavior therapy through our Merlin Day Academy, a fully integrated educational and therapeutic environment for children ages 6-14 years old with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs. This is an opportunity to combine Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with a school-based, team-driven program. As a TA/BT Flex, you will foster each child's cognitive, social, emotional, adaptive, and developmental growth.
