Job summary

The Therapeutic Apheresis Treatment Unit at Mayo Clinic is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care, education, and care coordination across the age continuum. The RN will participate in donor collections and therapeutic treatments, with responsibilities across inpatient and operating room settings.

Qualified candidates will hold a current RN license, have at least one year of RN experience, and be able to work flexible hours including weekends and on-call.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program recognized by ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA.
• One year RN experience required.
• Current RN license by applicable state requirements.
• BLS certification valid for 90 days post start date; various acceptable BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care and patient education across the continuum of care.
• Perform patient assessments and support transitions of care; ensure clear communication with the care team.
• Demonstrate leadership through mentoring and quality improvement efforts.
