Job summary

Marklund is seeking a Staff Nurse - LPN to join our team in Elgin. The role supports residents with profound disabilities, providing direct nursing care, medication administration, and health assessments in a compassionate, home-like environment.

The position offers flexible full-time and part-time shifts with hourly pay ranging from $32.25 to $34.75, plus various shift differentials. PRN/IHR on-call rates apply. Join us to contribute to meaningful, community-centered care.

We are seeking dedicated Staff Nurses with a LPN to join ourdiverse team in Elgin and be a part of our life-changing mission.

We have flexible full-time and part-time shifts available with anhourly rate of $32.25/hr - $34.75/hrbased on qualifications andexperience. The position hasadditional differentials of $3 for MCDDon all shifts, $1 for PM weekdays, $2 for night weekdays, $5 for AMweekends, $6 for PM weekends and $7 for night weekends. Our PRN/IHR(On-Call) LPN rate is $33/hr with an additional $2 differential for weekends.

Who We Are:

Marklund is a nonprofit organization that provides residential,educational and therapy services to infants, children, teens andadults with serious and profound developmental disabilities andspecial healthcare needs. With two residential locations – theMarklund Hyde Center in Geneva and the Marklund Wasmond Center inElgin, it is currently home to nearly 178 residents. The Marklund DaySchool offers Multi-Needs and Life Skills programs for children andyoung adults with multiple medical needs, and those diagnosed on theautism spectrum. In addition, our Community Day Services program ateach site is a therapeutic day program for adults who reside atMarklund and those who come in from the community.
