Williams College invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Physics & Astronomy. The successful candidate will teach across the undergraduate physics curriculum and involve undergraduates in research, with a two-course-per-semester teaching load including labs.

We seek a theoretical or computational physicist who will contribute to teaching, research, and service while fostering a diverse and inclusive academic community. Ph.D.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. required by July 2027.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate physics across the curriculum (two courses per semester, including labs).
• Maintain an active research program with undergraduate participation.
• Contribute to department service and student mentoring.
