Job summary

The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. by July 2027, postdoctoral experience preferred, and contribute to a diverse and inclusive academic community. The standard teaching load is two courses per semester with undergraduate research participation.

Qualifications

• A Ph.D. in physics or a closely related field is required; candidates must have completed their Ph.D. by July 2027, and postdoctoral experience is preferred.
• We seek a theoretical or computational physicist eager to teach throughout the undergraduate physics curriculum and to involve undergraduates in research.

Responsibilities

• Teach across the undergraduate physics curriculum; participate in two courses per semester and associated labs.
• Maintain an active undergraduate research program with student participation year-round.
• Contribute to service, mentoring, and the college's diversity and inclusion initiatives.
• Engage in scholarly collaboration within the department and with students.
