Job description

We are looking for an IT Support Specialist with at least 2 years of experience supporting users on MacOS, supporting hardware (Mac), and software for users. The IT support is for 80% in the Mac ecosystem and 20% in Windows, Android, and Linux.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Timely response to support tickets
  2. Troubleshoot issues for supported hardware (MacBook Air & Pro)
  3. Identify issues for supported software (Slack, GSuite, Adobe, Figma, etc.)
  4. Plan, implement, and maintain network connectivity within offices
  5. Maintain new versions of software deployed in the private application store (JAMF)
  6. Manage configuration and policies on remote devices (Sophos Endpoint protected)
  7. Maintain and manage Macs enrolled via Device Enrollment Plan
  8. Create and maintain technical knowledge base documents to aid self-service assistance for recurring issues
  9. Create, document, and maintain standard operating procedures so that processes are streamlined
  10. Manage employee and contractor onboarding and offboarding
  11. Maintain and manage software licenses
  12. Manage security alerts on employee laptops

Measure of Success:

  1. Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative
  2. Document routine tasks/procedures so that others can follow

Qualifications:

  1. At least 2 years of experience supporting users on MacOS, supporting hardware (Mac), and software for users, managing applications such as GSuite, Adobe, Figma, etc.
  2. At least one year of experience or working knowledge of managing MacOS devices using JAMF is a bonus
  3. Working knowledge of shell scripting to automate tasks.
