Job summary

Skillforce in Orlando, FL is hiring a Scenic Sculptor Fabricator to create themed elements, props, and set pieces from foam, clay, epoxy, and related materials. The role blends artistry with fabrication, following designs and production timelines.

You will read blueprints, work safely in a fast-paced shop, mentor junior teammates, and collaborate with designers to deliver high-quality scenic assets for ongoing projects. Experience in themed entertainment is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of sculpting experience in themed entertainment, fine arts, or scenic fabrication.
• Must be able to read blueprints and shop drawings.
• Knowledge of foam, clay, epoxy and fiberglass materials.
• Experience in molding, casting, and finishing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety regulations and PPE requirements in the shop.
• Fabricate and finish scenic components and props per designs and drawings.
• Sculpt and shape foam, clay, and epoxy materials into 3D forms.
• Apply textures and surface treatments for realism.
• Collaborate with designers and leads to plan and execute work.
• Inspect work for quality and consistency during fabrication.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and operate tools safely.
• Lead or assist in coordinating daily sculpting activities.
• Mentor junior team members as needed.
• Participate in cross-department collaboration on projects.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
