Job summary

Jobtailor in Los Angeles is seeking a senior project leader to guide themed entertainment, attractions, and hospitality projects from proposal to delivery. You will coordinate architecture, engineering, and creative teams, ensure schedule and budget adherence, and drive client satisfaction across multiple concurrent programs.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in AEC project management, a relevant bachelor's degree, and proficiency with Deltek Vantagepoint, Revit, Forma, and Miro.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management experience in the AEC industry.
• Demonstrated experience managing Themed Entertainment, Attractions, and/or Hospitality projects through multiple design and construction phases.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams balancing design excellence, technical quality, schedule, and budget.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, contracts, staffing, forecasting, and financial management.
• Experience building trusted client relationships and managing multiple concurrent projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project (or similar), AIA Contracts, and Deltek Vantagepoint.
• Familiarity with Revit, Forma, and Miro.
• Excellent communication, leadership, organization, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborative leadership style and a passion for immersive environments that create memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead themed entertainment projects from proposal through completion ensuring scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client expectations.
• Build and lead high-performing project teams with Project Executives and leadership.
• Develop project scopes, fees, schedules, labor plans, and work plans; monitor progress throughout the lifecycle.
• Identify scope creep and obtain formal approval for additional services.
• Coordinate architecture, interiors, engineering, consultants, and creative teams for coordinated documentation.
• Manage project financial performance, resource planning, forecasting, and staffing using Deltek Vantagepoint.
• Foster strong client relationships through proactive communication and collaboration.
• Identify risks and develop creative solutions with leadership.
• Administer owner and consultant contracts and facilitate stakeholder communications.
• Support business development with proposals, client presentations, and pursuits.
• Utilize industry tools including MS Office, Bluebeam, Deltek Vantagepoint, MS Project, AIA Contracts, MS Teams, Miro, Revit/Forma.
