Job summary

Adena Corporation in Lakeland, FL is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our Construction division, supporting themed entertainment, attraction, and specialty projects throughout the Orlando area. You will work with wood and metal framing, install doors and hardware, and contribute to high-quality themed environments.

You must read blueprints, maintain safety, and adapt to tight deadlines on fast-paced jobsites. Travel to multiple sites and overtime/weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience with wood and metal framing structures.
• Experience installing doors, frames, and hardware.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Reliable transportation and commute to multiple sites.
• Willingness to travel to jobsites as needed.
• Availability for overtime, weekend work, and overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, and repair wood and metal structures.
• Layout and frame walls using wood and metal studs.
• Build framing, joists, rafters, blocking, and supports.
• Install doors, frames, and finish hardware.
• Perform finish carpentry including trim and cabinetry.
• Assist with themed scenic construction and show elements.
• Work with wood, metal, FRP, GFRC materials.
• Install wall protection and acoustic ceilings.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow safety requirements.
• Support project schedules and maintain quality workmanship.
