Job summary

Six Flags Over Texas is seeking a qualified Maintenance Manager to oversee all activities related to new construction and facilities maintenance across the park, including paint, carpentry, sign/art, electrical/controls, HVAC, plumbing and water quality. You will manage budgets, schedule and inspect work, and ensure safety compliance.

You will lead a team, coordinate with the Maintenance Director, and act as liaison with officials to meet regulatory requirements while maintaining park guest

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction project management experience preferred.
• Experience in theme park operations preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Experience with Maximo or similar asset management tool preferred.
• Budget planning experience; proficient in Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate facility-related maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, controls, carpentry, painting and design.
• Manage repair and maintenance budget, estimates, tracking and monthly forecasts.
• Liaise with state and local officials for regulatory oversight and inspections.
• Maintain OSHA safety standards and Six Flags policies.
• Ensure projects are completed safely and timely to protect guest and team member experience.
• Oversee work order process, schedule orders, solicit bids, select vendors, and prepare requisitions; estimate job costs.
