Apollo is seeking an Associate or Principal for its Thematic Investing team to anchor analytical depth and financial rigor across investment theses. You will lead end-to-end diligence and translate themes into live investment decisions for growth-stage tech companies and select credits.

The role requires strong modeling, communication, and cross-functional coordination, with a focus on AI-enabled tools and ambitious company-wide impact. Collaboration with senior leaders is essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier institution, ideally in Economics, Statistics, CS or similar.
• Strong business acumen and industry research skills required.
• Financial modeling, valuation and credit underwriting proficiency.
• Transaction experience leading or supporting diligence and execution of equity/debt investments.
• Exposure to growth-stage technology investing is a plus but not required.
• Proven ability to lead research workstreams and coordinate inputs from cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to distill key themes and trends.
• AI-native mindset with curiosity; comfortable building tools when needed.
• Effective and articulate written and verbal communication; interface with senior leaders.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop core thematic research workstreams for all investment verticals.
• Lead end-to-end diligence and execution of venture equity & debt transactions in growth-stage tech.
• Cover select single-name credits, developing underwriting views for investment decisions.
• Build detailed valuation models and financial frameworks.
• Draft investment theses and presentations communicating major themes/risks.
• Tie secular and market themes to public and private market opportunities.
• Manage 2–4 research projects per year on long-term themes for internal/external use.
• Monitor thematic, sector and name risks; surface issues to leadership.
• Leverage data analytics and AI tools to improve investment processes.
