Theatrical Services Technician (Show Audio) (Busch Gardens Williamsburg)

What You Will Do

• Contribute to the Entertainment Operations Department.
• Operate Show Product in disciplines such as Audio, Multimedia, Master Electrician, Lighting, Spot Operation, Deck Hands, Fly Rail, or Dressers.
• Collaborate with Entertainment Production, Theming, and Theatrical Services teams to meet project goals.
• Work with outside contractors.
• Maintain entertainment facilities and equipment.
• Manage schedules and paperwork to meet entertainment goals.
• Follow project timelines, safety standards, and departmental procedures.
• Participate in safety and operational training programs.
• Perform additional duties supporting park and departmental objectives.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven technical skills and strong communication skills.
• Positive attitude, team player, capable of multitasking and collaboration.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Technical Theatre, Theatre Arts, or equivalent experience preferred.
• At least 2 years of professional technical entertainment experience preferred, especially in rigging, carpentry, costumes, electrics, sound, or sets.

Required Experience and Abilities

• Experience with hand tools and theatrical equipment.
• Ability to work at heights over 75 feet.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work outdoors in temperature extremes and overnight shifts.
• Valid US Driver’s License preferred.

Compensation and Perks
