Job description

SEASONAL POSITION

What you get to do:

You’ll take on various responsibilities to support the Entertainment Department’s event and show schedule, including:

  • Participating as an integral contributor to the Entertainment Costuming Department.
  • Executing Park, Show, and Event Laundry Projects, including all laundry processes and deliveries, maintaining shoe repair processes and supplies, and daily costume deliveries.
  • Collaborating with Entertainment Production/Operations, Theatrical Services, and Theming teams to achieve project goals.
  • Working with outside Costuming and Crafts contractors as assigned.
  • Assisting with the costuming request process and fabric stocking.
  • Managing costume project timelines to meet park and departmental objectives.
  • Maintaining flexible schedules with adherence to blackout dates.
  • Managing supplies, equipment, and systems related to costuming, including shoe inventories and laundry procedures.
  • Ensuring quality assurance of costuming products and support areas, including fabric storage.
  • Following safety guidelines, including proper PPE use.
  • Participating in departmental training programs.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned, including sewing tasks.
What it takes to succeed:
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Preferred 3 years of experience in clothing, laundry, wardrobe, or costuming.
  • Theme park experience preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
  • Experience with laundry supplies and equipment, costume materials, shop equipment, shoe repair tools, and hand tools.
What else is important:
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Extensive walking, standing, and climbing/ascending heights during shifts.
  • Physical activities including kneeling, squatting, reaching, grasping, and fine manipulation.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat.
  • Performing cleaning duties with chemicals.
  • Flexible work schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Work location flexibility based on business needs and career development.
Compensation:

$16.50 per hour
