Theater Outsource is seeking a Project Manager in the Los Angeles area to lead theatrical rigging projects from planning through fabrication, installation, and closeout. The role involves owning scope, schedules, budgets, and delivering client training.

Ideal candidates have direct theatrical rigging project-management experience and can coordinate with engineers, vendors, and installers in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Theatrical rigging project management experience or related entertainment-technology installations.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple theatrical rigging and entertainment-technology projects simultaneously.
• Own project scope, schedules, budgets, milestones, deliverables, and project documentation.
• Lead planning meetings and coordinate internal teams, clients, engineers, contractors, vendors, and installers.
• Track project progress, identify risks early, and adjust plans to keep work on schedule and within budget.
• Communicate project status, key decisions, challenges, and next steps clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate design, fabrication, installation, project turnover, closeout, and client training.
• Support a collaborative, solutions-focused project environment.
