Job summary
Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver) invites applications for part-time affiliate faculty in the Department of Theatre and Dance to support the Theatre Technology and Design Program. Qualifications
- Bachelor of Arts in Theatre or related field plus 6 years of relevant experience, or
- Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre or related field plus 4 years of relevant experience
- Preferred qualifications include MFA or MA in Theatre with several years of experience, or a Doctorate in Theatre with experience
Responsibilities
- Teach assigned classes in person or online, delivering course content to students
- Prepare course materials and lesson plans
- Grade student work and provide timely robust feedback
- Address student questions in line with university and department policies
- Provide online or in-person academic support as needed and appropriate
- Align instruction with course syllabi and department policies and adapt to new teaching modes
