Job summary

Cinemark seeks a friendly Theatre Team Member to create a welcoming experience for Guests. You will handle ticketing, provide information about movies and events, and assist in opening/closing duties. The role involves standing for long periods, moving around the theatre, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.

You will work with a team on site, operate the POS system, and ensure accurate transactions while upholding Cinemark standards for guest service and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Completion of basic food handling training and any local/state certifications as required.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular and consistent attendance.
• Energetic and friendly attitude during each shift.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to work in a team and follow direction.
• Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner.
• Operate Cinemark’s POS system for all transactions on assigned register.
• Verify tickets at podium and direct Guests to an auditorium.
• Provide pricing, movie information, and details on events/promotions.
• Respond to Guest questions in a professional customer-service manner.
• Maintain theatre cleanliness and monitor safety in seating and common areas.
• Open and close duties as assigned by management.
• Perform other duties as needed.
