Job summary

B&B Theatres is looking for a part-time Server to deliver outstanding guest service in our food and beverage operations in Joplin, MO. You will take and deliver orders, process payments, and maintain a welcoming dining area, while ensuring order accuracy and adherence to safety standards.

Flexibility in scheduling is important as theatres operate year-round. You will join a team focused on guest experiences that are magical, meaningful, and memorable and may need to obtain state

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age at time of hire (19 for Grand Island, NE).
• Demonstrates a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with bussers, cooks, and team members.
• Previous customer service experience in a fast-paced setting is highly desirable.
• Willingness to obtain R-Serving certification (21+), Food Handler, and/or Food Manager certifications; company pays for certifications.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a welcoming and professional manner.
• Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations.
• Take orders accurately and enter into POS system.
• Relay orders to kitchen and bar staff with clear communication.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
• Process payments accurately and present itemized checks.
• Assist kitchen/food prep staff as needed and maintain cleanliness.
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift duties and maintain a clean dining area.
