Jacksonville State University (Jacksonville, AL) seeks a student Props Manager for the Theatre and Film department. You will source, build, and maintain props for productions and assist during rehearsals and performances. Eligibility for Federal Work Study is required.

This is a part‑time position (up to 20 hours/week) at $8.25 per hour. You must be a JSU student with at least six hours and a minimum GPA of 2.0, and you will provide enrollment and GPA documentation.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled as a JSU student taking at least six hours per fall or spring semester.
• GPA of 2.00 or higher if not a first‑time student.
• Must be eligible for Federal Work Study.
• Provide evidence of enrollment and GPA (unofficial transcript or enrollment/GPA printout).
• May not be a Dual Enrollment Student.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize props storage.
• Source, build, or acquire props for productions.
• Track prop usage during rehearsals.
• Ensure props are preset and maintained.
• Assist with additional theatre production tasks as assigned by the Technical Director.
• Maintain prop tables and storage areas.
• Collaborate with directors, designers, and crew.
