Job summary

St. Catherine's School, an Episcopal day school in Richmond, Virginia, seeks a Theater Building Manager to oversee Endeavour Hall production spaces, safety protocols, and event operations.

The role reports to the Chief Operating Officer and requires managing seasonal staff and rentals. Candidates should have significant theater facility experience, strong organizational and safety skills, and the ability to collaborate across faculty, staff, students, and partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years' experience in theater/building management.
• Expertise in production-related health and safety best practices.
• Comfort with computer technology including Microsoft Office, Google apps, and basic networking.
• Ability to manage and prioritize a complex workload.
• Strong organizational and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage production activity and oversee technical aspects of all events within production spaces in Endeavour Hall.
• Manage facility budgets for production related equipment.
• Operate and supervise the operation of technical systems during department productions and events determined to be school critical.
• Maintain venue schedules and manage all events requiring technical support.
• Coordinate needs for additional labor in consultation with the COO.
• Train department and division representatives on production equipment usage.
