Job summary
The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust in Chelsea is recruiting for an Anaesthetic Practitioner/ODP (Band 5) to join its theatre team. Qualifications
- Registered theatre nurse/ODP with perioperative experience.
- Ability to supervise junior staff and maintain safe staffing.
- Demonstrate leadership in a busy theatre environment.
Responsibilities
- Carry out nursing care for theatre patients per shift plan.
- Perform tasks of a registered theatre nurse/ODP including resuscitation, scrub and circulation.
- Manage safe use of complex scrub equipment and decontamination processes.
- Support senior staff and monitor clinical standards within the theatre team.
- Participate in out-of-hours theatre on-call rota and audits.
