The Dame Clare Marx Building houses our elective orthopaedic centre (ESEOC) with eight laminar flow theatres and extensive theatre services. Colchester Hospital University NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for an Anaesthetic Practitioner/ODP to join our friendly theatre team.

You will need to be motivated, confident and flexible with operating theatre experience, and hold NMC RN1 or HCPC registration. Training and development opportunities are strong within ESNEFT.

Competenze

• Experience in an operating theatre environment.
• Be NMC RN1 or HCPC registered.
• Flexible and motivated team player.

Mansioni

• Prepare anaesthetic room and operating theatre for sessions: drugs, infusions, airway equipment, instruments and equipment.
• Ensure adherence to Trust policies and national initiatives (Saving Lives, WHO Surgical Safety Check List, GIRFT).
• Participate in internal rotation across department as needed, including trauma, on a 24-hour basis.
