Job summary

AMC Entertainment is seeking a Facility Maintenance Manager to own theatre spaces, lead safety and maintenance tasks, and elevate guest experience. You will supervise, coordinate with vendors, manage parts, and ensure adherence to health and safety standards across interior and exterior areas.

The role emphasizes leadership, mechanical aptitude, and effective communication to deliver safe, clean, and welcoming theatres while aligning with AMC policies and guest expectations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have six months supervisory or commensurate leadership experience.
• Ability to safely troubleshoot and perform basic facility repairs including painting, wallpapering, carpeting, and plumbing.
• Ability to safely use chemicals and basic tools to complete theatre equipment repairs and maintenance.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily facility inspections of interior and exterior areas and note repairs, maintenance, and cleaning tasks.
• Prioritize repairs, maintenance, and cleaning to keep facilities clean, safe and in good repair.
• Order and manage parts and supplies to ensure timely repairs and maintenance.
• Review vendor work orders and approve invoicing in a timely manner.
• Lead routine facility walkthroughs with the General Manager and with Janitorial staff to review overall condition and cleanliness.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance as scheduled.
