Job summary

CSU Stanislaus in Turlock is seeking a Temporary hourly-intermittent Student Assistant for the Theatre Department. The role includes box office cashier duties, customer service at events, and assisting in the Theatre Office, Labs, Costume Shop, and Scene Shop.

Evenings and weekends availability is required. Start date on or after October 2, 2026 and ending by May 31, 2027, with possible reappointment based on budget, department needs and performance.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate students must be registered in a minimum of six Fall/Spring units.
• Post-baccalaureate graduate students must be registered in a minimum of four Fall/Spring units.
• Prior cashiering and customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to learn new software quickly and multitask effectively.
• Highly motivated with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide support as a box office cashier for Theatre Department events.
• Provide customer service at Theatre Department events.
• Assist in the Theatre Office, Theatre Labs, Costume Shop, and Scene Shop.
• Provide technical assistance when requested.
• Other duties as assigned.
