Qualifications

• Some prior experience performing high volume customer service-related work.
• Active Illinois BASSET and Food Handler certificates before starting.
• All duties performed in line with the organization’s core values and policies.
• Preferred: arts concessions or emergency management experience.
• Preferred: First Aid and CPR certification.
• Preferred: experience with POS systems and cash management.

Responsibilities

• Operate TimeLine’s bar and cafe during performances and events.
• Open/close cafe/bar before and after shows; staff during productions and donor events.
• Prepare and serve food items following written recipes; craft beverages.
• Process sales, handle payments, and make change when needed.
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and welcoming bar/cafe environment.
• Assist patrons with directions and information; uphold POS knowledge.
